Kobayashi International Trade Co., Ltd. has begun a partnership with BIWAKO TOURISM BASE this summer, making our head office in Hikone a new bicycle rental base. Today we welcomed the very first group of guests to set off from the office.
Two travellers from Hong Kong took on Biwaichi, the ride around Lake Biwa. They had prepared their own recommended route in advance, and with further suggestions from us, they set off in high spirits this morning. The pair are circling the lake anti-clockwise and will arrive in Otsu in a few days, where they plan to watch the Biwako Fireworks Festival, one of the best known fireworks displays in Japan.
